Troops into Liberia...Again

An interesting parallel in history is happening today. According to Fox News, President George W. Bush has 'signed off' on sending troops into Liberia. Interestingly enough, President George H. W. Bush sent troops into Liberia thirteen years ago, almost to the day. In fact, it was August 5, 1990 that he sent Marines in to the the capital of Monrovia to evacuate American nationals and protect the embassy.
