Lewis and Clark

Two hundred years ago on November 7, 1805, Captains Lewis and Clark reached the coast of Oregon after an eighteen month journey from St. Louis. Their party consisted of twenty-six soldiers and two French-Canadian interpreters that made this long journey to help open up a trade route to the Pacific.
