Queen Liliokalani never abducated her throne. She was Illegally deposed by U.S. military force. Hawaii cannot legally be a state under international law. The U.S. is in direct violation of international treaties and Laws of occupation.

He’s right, and after years of a manipulative tourism industry owned by foreign international investors we are economically trapped. Our culture has been commoditized into the mispercieved “culture of the plastic lei.” Thanks alot guys

So what your saying is after America, tourists and businesses have put billions if not trillions of dollars into Hawaii to bring it to the point where it is Hawaii wants to leave the registration as a US state? how dumb is that, you do realize that tourism would go down the drain because people would probably boycott Hawaii and even go so far as to ask for an embargo.. Hawaii would then be forced to either take on huge amounts of debt to stay afloat (so to speak) and then even possibly get to the point where people are starving.. What you are is a purist, you are racist against people of other races and you wish to have a Hawaiian only country once again. Truth being that with diversity comes strength, if Hawaii leaves they won’t have the same backing by the US government in the means of war if Hawaii was attacked by say China or Japan.. And if I was the Chinese communist government I would see that as a chance to seize power and take over the Island giving China a nearby port in which it would siege war against the US.. and where would the Hawaiians be in all this? lost, because the number of actual Hawaiians is actually very low, like all native cultures Hawaiian culture has been largely absorbed by breeding with other races, so you really cant say they would stay and help you could you? If I was in your countries pants, I would stay where I was and just ask the state to enforce a more culturally explicit law that states they cannot superceed Hawaiian cultures or rituals. I agree Hawaii needs to retain its uniqueness and stop being a country of Plastic Lei’s and start being Hawaii that everyone loves. Why not start growing real flowers again…

The sick part is in 1885 Hawaiian King Kamehameha chose to place Hawaii under the united states protection to keep Britain and France from taking over. 8 years later the U.S government over threw him and took over. We did just the thing we were hired to protect against.
