Over the past few years, I created an interactive historical marker site which contains photographs and descriptions of the various historical markers in Virginia and surrounding states. Many of the stories of colonial America are told on these roadside signs and the site may be of interest to those seeking detailed information on this aspect of Colonial America (and other time periods as well).
