End of the First Gulf War
Saturday February 27, 2010
On February 27, 1991, the first Gulf War came to an end when the Iraqi government announced acceptance of the UN resolution. Later that day, US president George H. W. Bush announced that the war was officially over. Approximately twelve years later, President George W. Bush sent troops into Iraq starting the second Gulf War which resulted in the capture and execution of Saddam Hussein, elections held throughout Iraq, and much controversy at home.

Just got thru reading all the comments made about the justification of the Bos. Massacre an event that happened centuries ago. Only to find there’s not one comment about the Gulf Wars that happened yesterday. So here goes:Were the two Gulf Wars (one overseen by a father the other by a son) justified?
The first one, yes. We were asked for help by Kuwait to repel an invasion by Iraq. The second one, I don’t think so.
Both are justified! If you cannot see the bigger picture in what is happening in our world, then I would advise you to do one of 2 things.
1. Start traveling and open your mind to what is going on in the world.
or…
2. Learn to speak Arabic or Farsi.
If you like your way of life as it is right now, you must fight to keep it. Without a doubt, there are many that will fight to take it from you.
