End of the Civil War
Monday May 26, 2008
While General Robert E. Lee had surrendered on April 9, 1865, fighting still continued in other places. It wasn't until May 26, 1865 when the last fighting of the Civil War took place, and General Kirby Smith surrendered Confederate forces west of the Mississippi. There is a vast amount of information in the Civil War section. You can look at photographs of the war, read about leaders and locations of battle, take a Civil War Quiz, and read through Civil War documents. You will also find a biography of our great leader, Abraham Lincoln.

I will like to see Gerry Seaquist comment addressed, please. Also, i’ll like to add: This gut Seaquist amases me that he knows something a on line expert doesn’t. Please look into it. Also: I take my hat off to Mr. Seaquist. If (”you’ll laugh”…but, I am -serious!-)Mr. Seaquist will be interested I can have him with me in a top slot with my ongoing 2008 Presidential campaign. I will really enjoy to be in communications with someone with his sort of calibra, and “faith”. Thank you! Please -do- print my email (WilkinsonJBoxing@Hotmail.com)Sincerely.
