Lewis and Clark

November 7, 1805, Captains Lewis and Clark reach the coast of Oregon after an 18 month journey from St. Louis. Their party consisted of 26 soldiers and 2 French-Canadian Interpreters that made this long journey to help open up a trade route to the Pacific.
