Gunfights Through America's History

The settling of the West can be characterized as the struggle of pioneers attempting to tame a savage land. People saddled horses and loaded wagons in search of their dreams. The dreams were many and varied ranging from owning land to striking gold. Unfortunately, some went west to prey on their fellow settlers. Here is a brief look at some of the major gunfights in American history.
