The About American History Readers' Choice Awards are a chance for you, the readers, to have your say about what is rated the best of the best in American History for 2013. Following are a list of five categories including the best American History book, movie, website, blog, and the most influential president.
Following is an overview of the process for the Readers' Choice Awards. The nominating period opens in January. Readers have until February 11th to nominate their favorites. Finalists are chosen and then voting opens later in February. Finally, the winners of the Awards are announced in March. You can learn more at awards.about.com.

You can choose a movie based on its plot, acting, historical accuracy, or just pure enjoyment factor. However, the movie must have been released in 2012. Do you have a favorite American History website? There are a number of websites that provide a wealth of information and resources about America's past. The site of your choice can focus on American History as a whole or one specific era such as the American Revolution, World War II, or the Prohibition era
