Concurring Opinion

By

Definition: Concurring opinions are written when a justice agrees with the majority for the verdict but disagrees with parts of the majority opinion. In many instances, concurring opinions are actually dissenting opinions in disguise. Any justice can write a concurring opinion, and other justices can sign it in agreement.
