Where is the White Sands Missile Range located?

White Sands Missile Range is located near Alamogordo, New Mexico. It was within this range that the Trinity test site is located. This is where the first Atomic Bomb was tested on July 16, 1945. The dropping of the Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the culmination of the Manhattan Project and caused a quick end to World War II in the Pacific arena with the surrender of the Japanese.
